Government Outreach Day 2020 at the Georgia State Capitol

Save the Date: Government Outreach Day at the Georgia State Capitol 2/11/20

On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, the Atlanta Chapter will hold its fourth annual Government Outreach Day at the Georgia State Capitol. This is a great opportunity to introduce your state legislators to ASHRAE and discuss issues critical to the HVAC industry. Volunteers will be asked to schedule meetings with their legislators and staff between 8:30 am and 9 am; email templates and ASHRAE materials will be provided. The February Chapter meeting featuring ASHRAE President Darryl Boyce will be held later that day.

Schedule for Tuesday 2/11:

• 8 am - meet at Capitol building. You must have a government-issued ID to be admitted.
• 8:30 to 9 am - schedule your meetings with your legislators.
• 9 am - Pick up and photo op with Governor's Proclamation of Engineers Week
• (optional) 9:15 am - Pick up and photo op with Atlanta City Council Proclamation of Engineers Week (Atlanta City Hall is across the street)
