Q: What is my username/password for this website?
A: Your username is the e-mail address you receive the Atlanta Chapter e-mails at. If you have never logged in to www.ashraeatlanta.org , click the "Forgot Password" link and enter in your e-mail address to set up your personal password.
Q: Why can't I get the "Chapter Member" rate for meetings?
A: Atlanta Chapter Members are ASHRAE members who pay $40/year dues to the Atlanta Chapter. We offer special discounts at meetings and other events for members who financially support the Chapter. Chapter Members can access these discounts by logging in with their username (e-mail address where you receive Atlanta Chapter e-mails) before registering for events.
If the Chapter Member rate is disabled for you, then we do not have your dues paid on record. Please be sure you are using the e-mail address associated with your ASHRAE membership to register for our meetings! If you believe this is in error, please contact our President at email@example.com
Q: Can I register a group of people for an event?
A: Yes. When you are going through the registration process you can select "Add Guests" to add multiple people to your group. Note that if a Chapter Member discount is offered, each chapter member must register individually to receive this discount. Guests as a part of a group will all be charged the base (non-Chapter member) rate.
Q: How do I register for an event on the new website?
- Navigate to the specific event you want to register for from our Event Calendar: http://www.ashraeatlanta.org/Events
- Click the "Register" Button in the light gray colored box.
- Enter your e-mail address. Be sure to use the e-mail address where you are receiving this e-mail. Click "Next" to continue.
- You will be given the option to log in; this step is optional. If you'd like to skip logging it, click "Next".
- Choose the registration type for the meeting. If you are a chapter member, a special discounted price will become available. Click "Next" to continue.
- Fill in or adjust any contact details. Click "Next" to continue.
- Choose your payment method. You can click "Online" to pay with a credit card or using a PayPal account, or you can click "Manual" to bring cash or check to the meeting. Click "Next" to continue.
- For "Manual" Payment Methods: Review your information and click "Confirm". Your registration is complete and you will be sent a confirmation e-mail.
- For "Online" Payment Methods: You will be directed to PayPal to complete your transaction. Once your PayPal transaction is complete, you will be returned to the Atlanta Chapter website. Your registration is complete and you will be sent a confirmation e-mail.
