JANUARY 2020 ASHRAE ATLANTA CHAPTER MEETING
Tuesday, January 14th at 11:30 AM
Technical Program Description
In this presentation LeFevre shares insights on design and construction project management. He shares the viewpoints of architects, owners, contractors, technologists, strategists, and academics on industry issues and solutions and offers an inspirational future imperative about harnessing technology, entrepreneurism, and the power of others.
Michael LeFevre, FAIA Emeritus, is a self-avowed collaboration evangelist on a crazy mission to connect design and construction. After an award-winning 30 years as an architect - principal, project manager, project architect, and designer - with Lord, Aeck & Sargent and Heery International, he joined Holder Construction to create a better way to design and build, leading early BIM adoption and working with more than 70 leading design firms on high profile projects like the Apple Headquarters and Atlanta’s new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He recently released a book on managing design and is a Principal at DesignIntelligence Strategic Advisors, a design think tank.
